A: Honestly, any camera can be used for Mass Surveillance. Leelou could be used for Mass Surveillance but it is only programmed to scan and not record.

The Glasses are an Android platorm and can be used like any Android Device. Anything anyone can do to an Android phone can be done to the Glasses. The Glasses only look invasive because they're being worn.

A: The Offenders Register is public, but no one can access it. You cannot search for people on it. It only alerts Users when someone is on it, but no one can do a search for it.

A: Members of the general public submit convicted offenders to the register. The information is then checked against public court records and once verified, the Offenders facial recognition profile is stored in the database for Leelou Users to scan using the Glasses
Q: Can I contest if my profile is on the register?
A: If you are on the register, the information is public anyway. The only way Leelou Private Eye would remove the profile is if the courts had a valid supression order in place.
Q: Can someone put an innocent person on the register?
A: No. All information supplied to Leelou Private Eye is checked against publiclly available Government websites and verified before approving anyone is added to the register.
